Celebrate the Seemingly Ordinary
This picture is a reminder to celebrate the seemingly ordinary and find the beauty in everyday.
The celebration of Carnival or Mardi Gras in many cultures is a festive prelude to the season of Lent. In the preparation of fish and fasting. New Orleans, well known for its Fat Tuesday parade and celebration is synonymous with its deep-rooted French history. Yet, we know that there is more to learn and discover about a place or person when the festivities are over, and the day-to-day begins again.
One of my favorite things to do when I travel is to find a quaint spot to take a photo to remind me of the beauty beyond the touristy glamor. This photo was taken in the French Quarter, April 2015.
Today’s Tip:
I challenge you to find the beauty, beyond your mask and Carnival, in your seemingly ordinary day. And remember to always love yourself
